Settled into our new home

Well, it has been awhile since I have written but thought I would share about our new home.  We are living in Cushing, Maine a few miles from my parents house.  It is nice being close to grandparents that help out.  We very rarely leave the children but there were times during this recent pregnancy that the kids stayed with Grandma and Grandpa so I could go to the midwife.  What a blessing they were.

The house is perfect for us.  As I type this, the kids are outside running around our yard.  We have trees, rocks, a grassy area, and a big driveway.  We are on a hill overlooking the river.  When we moved in, the trees were just starting to change color
.  Now, especially since the wind we got from Hurricane Sandy, the trees are mostly bare.  The kids even awoke one morning to snow, and played in it for the short time it remained that morning.

The house is a 3 bedroom, 2 bath, the perfect size for us.  Being a double wide trailer, it is all one floor living which is much easier on me.  The trailer is only a few years old and in great condition.  It is very well laid out for our needs, with the kitchen being the center of the house.  I can see both living rooms and the school room while I cook. (Yes, you read that right, TWO living rooms.)

We made the move to be closer to Mark's new job.  He works at the hospital, in the operating room, cleaning, stocking  supplies, and generally keeping the ORs clean and sterile. He really loves the job and has been there about 3 months. Mark also has the ability to take classes through work, to gain more skills.

Since I wrote last time, we have also had a baby.  Josiah Matthew Cowperthwaite joined our family on July 14th.  He is a sweet baby that is loved by everyone.  He was three and a half weeks early but has caught up weight wise and developmentally.

Praise the Lord for all he has done for our family.
